New Rock & Pop Session Skills books for Grades 6-8 available now

The full set of our new Rock & Pop Session Skills books are now available from our online store and your local sheet music retailer.

These new books focus on improvisation and playback, two vital skills for rock and pop musicians. They are designed support the Session Skills section of Trinity’s Rock & Pop graded exams for bass, drums, guitar, keyboards and vocals. 

There are three books per instrument, with each book containing an audio CD and resources for each of the three grades. They will feature 10 improvising examples per grade in styles that may be encountered in the exam, and 10 playback examples per grade.
